It's Baby Safety Month — here at the ASU Center for Child Well-Being, we know that baby safety starts with how babies sleep. So, today we are highlighting the Sleep Safe Campaign from one of our favorite organizations, AZ Department of Child Safety

The AZ Department of Child Safety Safe Sleep Campaign is simple:
A — Alone
B — on their Back
C — in a Crib

Empty crib or bassinet. No blankets, pillows, bumpers, or toys. Every nap and every night.

Anyone can be a safe sleep advocate. Start with one question: Where does your baby sleep?

Arizona youth in foster care are speaking up about what they really need to thrive — and we’re listening.

Through Nytd_az (the National Youth in Transition Database), young people share their experiences to help improve support services as they transition to adulthood.

It’s a chance for youth voices to directly shape better programs in housing, education, health, and more. Learn more at https://nytdaz.com/

Good Luck & Best Wishes, Emily!

We’re sad to see her go, but thrilled to celebrate Emily Saeteurn as she wraps up her time with CCWB and steps into a new role with the SSW Office of Practicum Education team effective June 8!

Emily has been an incredible asset to CCWB — contributing to so many important projects and bringing her positive energy as a valued member of the Staff Appreciation Committee. Her dedication and hard work have made a real difference.

Please join us in thanking Emily for everything she’s done and wishing her all the success and happiness in her new adventure!

You’ll be missed, Emily! Wishing you nothing but the best ahead! ✨
