⭐️It was once said the four-leaf clover is considered a variation of the common 3-leaf clover. No one is sure why or how the extra leaf develops when all other biological and environmental conditions are the same. However, they are considered good luck and cherished by all that possess them. Down Syndrome is thought of in much the same way. No one is sure why or how some babies are born with an extra chromosome, but those of us who are fortunate enough to have those individuals in our lives consider ourselves the lucky few. The overall goal of celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness month is to spread awareness and promote acceptance. At the end of the day, we are all more alike than different.
