Have you graduated with a humanities degree between 2000 and 2023? If so, take this quick survey to help out Professor Andrew Reed!

Here is his message:

Are you eligible to take my survey and havent yet? If so, I could really use your help! I am in the home stretch of collecting responses for my dissertation research survey and am hoping to get as many responses as I can this week before closing it to analyze the data.

Who is eligible to take it? Anyone who earned a Bachelor’s degree in a Humanities field β€” that includes Art, Film, Music, Dance, Theatre, Religion, Philosophy, Language Arts, or History β€” between 2000 and 2023 - that is who I am looking to complete it.

It takes less than 10 minutes to complete and can be done at: https://nnu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3VDE70t4nLP5IVw

Your assistance in spreading the word and sharing this with people who are eligible to take it is greatly appreciated!

🎬 Lights, Camera, Action! Join the New Film & Media Arts Club! 🍿

Are you passionate about movies, digital art, video production, or storytelling? Do you want to meet other creatives and bring your ideas to life?

We're starting a STUDENT-LED Film & Media Arts Club at UPIKE and we want you to be a part of it!

🀩 Who Should Join?
Everyone! You absolutely do not need to be an FMA major. Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker, a curious beginner, a brilliant writer, or just someone who loves watching and talking about cinema, you're welcome! We're looking for students from all fields to bring diverse perspectives and skills to the table.

πŸŽ₯ What's the Plan?
The goal is to build a supportive community where we can all grow as artists and creators. Here's a glimpse of what we plan to do:

Regular Discussions: Dive into film theory, history, current media trends, and industry news.

Collaborative Projects: Team up to create short films, music videos, digital art, and more!

Film Screenings: Host special movie nights featuring student work and classic/indie cinema.

Peer Support: Offer a platform for members to share their work, get constructive feedback, and find crew members for their personal projects.

πŸ‘‹ Initial Interest Meetings
Come to one of our initial meetings to learn more about our vision, share your ideas, and let us know what you'd like to see the club do. This is a chance to shape the club from the very beginning!

Date & Time: Nov 20th, 7:30 pm and Nov. 25th at 11:00 am

Location: ARM 458
