Meet our lovely Alumnae Blaire Holliday, who crossed the 10 VIBRANT Roses of SΑΙ in Spring 2015 as “LegaSAI Rose”, She was the Fine Nine of the line and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in Fall 2017. 🌹🎓

Since graduating from UAPB, Blaire has built an impressive career in veterinary medicine and biomedical research, gaining experience in laboratory animal medicine, animal care, leadership, and presenting research on a national level. Most recently, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and matched into a Laboratory Animal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago. 🩺🐾

Her journey is a reminder that Roses are not limited to the musical field but, that they can thrive in any profession and continue to make a lasting impact while embodying excellence, passion, and sisterhood. 💫🌹

We are proud to celebrate her dedication, excellence, and continued success as she inspires the next generation of women in STEM and veterinary medicine. 🩷

“Being a part of the Lambda Nu chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota was a life altering experience. I was given the opportunity to build bonds with women who are just as passionate as music as I am, touch different people on campus with the events we held, to grow confidence in both my musical and professional abilities.

I wanna thank my line sisters especially. It was always hard for me to believe in my musical talents, especially singing. Going through the process of becoming a rose and having to do our recital, you all poured into me and gave me the confidence I needed to sing my little heart out and furthered my passion for music even more. I love my 19 and are forever grateful for each and every one of you!

Through my time in the organization, I gained an incredible sense of sisterhood — a bond built on mutual respect, shared passion for music, and a genuine love for one another.
