For Noah Roberts, Central Louisiana has never just been a place to live—it has always been home. Born and raised in Cenla, Noah has spent his life investing in the community and the people who make it special.

Currently serving as a teacher at Buckeye High School, Noah has dedicated the last four years to educating and mentoring students in the classroom. Beyond academics, he has also spent the last three years coaching basketball, serving as the Assistant Coach for the Buckeye High School Boys Basketball team and the Head Coach of the Junior High Boys Basketball team.

While teaching and coaching come with many responsibilities, Noah finds his greatest reward in the relationships he builds with young people. He is passionate about positively influencing students and helping guide young men as they grow in character, responsibility, and leadership. For Noah, success is measured not only by wins on the court or achievements in the classroom, but by the impact made in the lives of those he serves.

When asked what he loves most about Central Louisiana, his answer is simple… the people. Noah believes Cenla’s greatest strength is its sense of community. You do not need extravagant attractions or flashy entertainment to enjoy life here. Instead, the region offers something even more valuable—a place where friendships are strong, relationships matter, and people can come together to enjoy meaningful connections.

We look forward to recognizing our Wildcats at this year’s Commencement Ceremonies. Two ceremonies will be held this year, scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A comprehensive list of graduates, including their designated procession times, is available in the Registrar’s section of the University website.

For the 10 am ceremony, doors will open at 9 am, and for the 2 pm ceremony, doors will open at 1 pm. Attendees are asked to bring personal belongings in clear bags.

A pop-up bookstore location will be available in Guinn Lobby following each ceremony.

For those unable to attend in person, both ceremonies will be live-streamed via the University’s official YouTube channel.
