Big night for Pitt State Graphic Communications at the 2026 GraphEx Awards. 🎉

received the PIA MidAmerica Professional Educator of the Year Award, while our students competed against universities across Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma and brought home multiple honors and scholarships through the Nolan Moore Memorial Education Foundation.

Congratulations to (2nd Place), .forst_ (3rd Place), and honorable mentions and .curry on representing at one of the region’s premier print and graphic communications competitions.

GC 590 Night Photography took to the dark skies for an astrophotography shoot, and after waiting it out, the clouds finally cleared and the skies opened up. From there, it was all about dialing in long exposures, chasing sharp stars, and pushing low-light technique to the limit. Not the easiest conditions—but that’s where the best work happens.
