Summer 2026 Refinish class is the books! Awesome group of young automotive professionals. In addition to the required technical lab activities in the booth (surface prep, primers, sealers, single-stage, basecoat/clearcoat, and tri-coat finishes), we had seven student with live work. We repaired and painted a Mustang hood, Ford F250 hood, Ford F150 door and fender (two tone), Chevy El Camino cowl hood, color change on a Honda Civic, Ford Ranger hood, and a Corvette front bumper cover.

Garrett, Andrew, and Kael had a surprise today when Gary Deluca from Autel gave them all new Autel Ultra S2 scan tool kits for all the hard work this week beta testing their new AC909 A/C diagnostic tool. PSU Auto Tech also received new scan tools, TPMS diagnostic tools , and the new AC909 Diagnostic tool from Autel. Thank you Autel and Gary for the support of PSU auto tech.

IN THE LAB with Steering/Suspension!

Students are working on wheel alignments, suspension repairs, tire service, steering diagnostics, vehicle inspections, and identifying key components.

Another great Industrial Tours class!!!
Students left early Saturday to Indianapolis Speedway and museum on the way to Detroit. They spent most of Sunday at the famous Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Mondays tour included the Ford Rouge factory in the morning to see the assembly of the Ford F150 and job shadowing at the Ford Technical Hotline Center in the afternoon where they sat in on live tech assistance cases. Tuesday, students toured the Chevrolet Warranty Parts Division to see how alumni determine cause/effect issues. Wednesday, students visited Prema Racing and saw how a race team functions and performs between races. It was a power-packed Industrial Tour class!
