Tuesday, March 18th we will be having a pre-med workshop hosted by our very own program assistants Yousef and Emilio! They will be sharing valuable information about their journey through undergrad and how they are now preparing to apply/go into medical school. Join us to learn about opportunities, resources, mindsets, and strategies that can set you ahead on your journey!

We will have a yoga & stretching session
In KAC106 (In the Kinesiology and Athletics Complex)
It will be from 12PM-1PM

On Thursday, March 20th
We will be painting rocks and sketching
In MESA (SC2-202)
It will be from 2PM-4PM

We are super excited to spend this peaceful time with you all and learn practices to help us manage the stress of the semester. We hope you guys are enjoying these events as well and find it to be great time to connect with friends and yourself!

Hey MESA students! We are super excited to see you all tomorrow (2/27) for our mindfulness clay making session from 3-5PM in room SC2-227!!

As it is time for most of our first exams, you NEED to have time to unwind and reconnect with yourself. School is important but you come first! Take this time to ground yourself, hang out with friends, and become more in tune with your body. It will help you focus better and be a more effective student!

Plus, of course we will have snacks!

Hey students!! Join us and H.E.A.L. Club tomorrow, 2/26 (Wednesday) from 2:30-4PM in MESA (SCI2-202) as attendees from the Stanford University Minority Medical Alliance (SUMMA) conference share about their experiences from the other weekend!

You will get to encounter the wisdom they did, even if you weren’t there!

Plus, they will be having a speaker from Stanford speak about 2 programs they offer there: LEAP (Leadership for Aspiring Physicians) and SSCCPP (Stanford Summer Community College Premedical Program).

Stanford hosts this pre-health conference every year so if it sounds like something you would be interested in, come by and hear about their experiences and maybe that can be you next time!

Join Antioch Community on May 3rd celebrating STEM. They will have a bunch of hands-on activities some of which are being brought by us here at LMC! Along with music, a DJ, and various food vendors.
