Gamma Epsilon Tau (GET) is a national co-ed collegiate printing
fraternity. It’s purpose is to allow students of printing and publishing
to meet and interact in both a professional and social atmosphere. The name Gamma Epsilon Tau is derived from the ancient Greek
language. Epsilon means science or knowledge; and Tau means art or craft. Hence, Gamma Epsilon Tau stands for “The science or knowledge
of
the art and craft of letters.”
Gamma Epsilon Tau is comprised of undergraduate students enrolled in Graphic Design here at Pitt State University. These students, by virtue of their commitment to excellence in the Graphic Communications, merit
admission into the Fraternity. A candidate must be of good moral
character, sincerity of purpose, and be willing to participate in the
activities of the chapter.
