A special shout-out to Michael Thompson, who was our Graduate Assistant for the past 1.5 years. He did a fantastic job serving our program and students behind the scenes and in the classroom, where he was the instructor for our Relationship Skills course this semester and a guest instructor in various classes throughout his time as GA. Michael has already passed his LMSW exam and will soon start his new position as a therapist for children and teens at Spring River Mental Health. We're grateful for you, Mike, and so proud of you!

On the last day of classes, our MSW students, pictured here with Dr. Jeremey Wolfe, shared in a cultural potluck. Each person brought a food or drink item that represented their family culture and shared why it was meaningful to them. These students will add a new meaningful moment to their stories tonight as they graduate with their Master of Social Work! 🎓❤️💛🦍

We are thrilled to send out these 20 social workers from our first MSW graduating class! If you want to watch the Commencement of the College of Arts and Sciences, Pittsburg State University, a livestream is available at 6:30 pm. You can access the link here:
