PSU Black Student Association The fundamental purpose of this Association shall be to promote a communal bond among students of African descents.

The aims of this association shall be to serve the members and general community. The largely common heritage of the Black Students at Pittsburg State University, their mutual problems and the concerns which stem from those problems, and their common concerns about the quality of life—all of these factors in their own peculiar ways, encourage the establishment of a student union of Blacks at Pitts

burg State University. The fundamental purpose of this association shall be to promote a communal bond among students of African descents. (i) as Clearing house for information regarding the students of African descent at the University. (ii) as a Forum for discussing issues that are vital to the welfare and self-image of students of African descent at the University. (iii) as an Educational vehicle by and through which the cultural heritage of the students of African descent be transmitter. (iv) to serve the members as a Psychological vehicle by and through which a positive self-image can be generated through detailed familiarization with Black students contributions to the unfolding drama of social and economic evolution and development.
