What a beautiful thing it has been to witness your journey.

Through long study nights, life transitions, moments of doubt, moments of growth, and every challenge in between, you continued showing up for yourselves and your future. That takes strength. That takes community. That takes heart.

Umoja has never only been about academics. It’s about connection, culture, support, and creating spaces where students feel seen, valued, and empowered to succeed. Each of you added your own voice, energy, and story to that legacy.

As you move into your next chapter, whether that’s transferring, starting a career, continuing your education, or discovering a new path entirely, remember that your story does not end here. This is only the beginning.

This Thursday, April 23, 2026, Umoja will be hosting the ‘African Diaspora Rising’ event at 3pm - 4:30pm in the Student Union conference room 109. 💚❤️🖤💛

This event is to celebrate Africa and its Diaspora. There will be West African, Caribbean, and American food and music (Our students are also sharing some artifacts and created info slides about various countries in the Diaspora).
