In conjunction with Sarah Perrier and the Literary Arts, Social Justice (LASJ) Department, the Professional Career-Readiness Center would like to introduce our final speaker for the LASJ Virtual Career & Internship Summit, Dawnese Booker. She will deliver closing remarks for tomorrows event.
As program manager of experiential learning, Dawnese is responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of programs, services, and policies related to experiential learning. Dawnese uses her background in higher education and human resources to build relationships with employers and students that help connect students to experiential learning opportunities such as internships and co-ops.
She has a passion for working with students and helping them combine their skills, interests and coursework with real-world experience to prepare for life after graduation.

In conjunction with Sarah Perrier and the Literary Arts, Social Justice (LASJ) Department, the Professional Career-Readiness Center would like to introduce our third panelist for the LASJ Virtual Career & Internship Summit, Point Park Alum, Nicole Chynoweth.
Nicole Chynoweth is a content manager in the Enrollment Marketing Department at Point Park University. She writes feature stories about students, faculty, and alumni and manages web content for the Schools of Business, Education, and Arts and Sciences. She is also a freelance reporter for Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business. She graduated summa cm laude from Point Park University in 2013 with a degree in journalism and multimedia and is currently enrolled in Point Park's concurrent MBA/M.A. in Media Communication program. Prior to her role at Point Park, she was the manager of marketing, public relations, and social media at Carnegie Science Center with a focus on museum exhibits, Buhl Planetarium and The Rangos Giant Cinema. She covered breaking news, features, and managed social media at The Evening Sun in Hanover, Pa., part of the USA Today Network, and served as the web and social media editor at the Central Penn Business Journal in Harrisburg, Pa. She worked as a reporter covering the Ligonier Valley at the Tribune-Review and its former sister paper, The Ligonier Echo. She received several awards during her journalism career, including a first-place Keystone Press award in news feature reporting for a story about Powdermill Nature Reserve studying a tornado’s impact on biodiversity in Rector, Pa.

In conjunction with Sarah Perrier and the Literary Arts, Social Justice (LASJ) Department, the Professional Career-Readiness Center would like to introduce the second of our three panelists for the LASJ Virtual Career & Internship Summit, Point Park Alum, Kaitlyn Regulbuto.
Kaitlyn Regulbuto is a Point Park graduate with a degree in Literary Arts and two minors in Education and Gender Studies. She currently resides in Detroit, MI where she teaches 9-12th grade Special Education at an alternative education high school. In the past, she has interned at nonprofits all over Pittsburgh, including the Carnegie Science Center and the Homeless Children's Education Fund.

In conjunction with Sarah Perrier and the Literary Arts, Social Justice (LASJ) Department, the Professional Career-Readiness Center would like to introduce the first of our three panelists for the LASJ Virtual Career & Internship Summit, Point Park Senior, Lauren Hunter.
Lauren Hunter is a senior in the Creative Writing program at Point Park University. She will graduate this April and hopes to pursue graduate education in the field in the fall. She is originally from Texas and came to Point Park as a Dance major. In the spring of 2020, she switched majors and is now a part of the Literary Arts and Social Justice department with a focus in poetry. She is currently a writer and editorial intern for Proofpoint in Pittsburgh, and volunteers as a submission's reader for Autumn House Press. In her free time, she enjoys reading and going to concerts.

In conjunction with Sarah Perrier and the Literary Arts, Social Justice (LASJ) Department, the Professional Career-Readiness Center would like to introduce our keynote speaker for the LASJ Virtual Career & Internship Summit, Point Park Alum, Jamie Johnson.
Jamie Johnson is a Pittsburgh native, a Point Park Alum, and an employee at Highmark Health where her current role is a Readiness and Change Specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education from Point Park and a Master’s in Psychology from Capella, as well as emotional intelligence and human-centered design certificates from various organizations.
