The study abroad in Italy is underway, and several Pitt Education students visited the Il Papiro factory workshop, creating several paper decorations including marbleized paper, embossing a leather bookmark, and making a journal.

Students are immersed in the culture as they continue their "Language and Literature for the Young Child" and "Teaching Young English Language Learners" courses in Italy, taught by faculty members Patricia Crawford and Michelle Sobolak.
