Hi LMSA Familia!

PittMed LMSA is excited to launch our virtual Latinx Business Showcase to help promote local Latinx businesses/items, as well as raise money for Casa San Jose and the Latino Community Center. These nonprofit organizations are now working tirelessly to provide COVID-19 relief and educational support for Pittsburgh's Latino families.

There are some pretty awesome local restaurants included in our raffle, as well as some bigger amazing items for auction.

LMSA at Geisinger just shared with us that they are having a great presentation this afternoon regarding how to interact with non-English speaking patients and navigate the patient interview when an interpreter is needed. UPMC's own International Referral Liaison and Spanish Interpreter, Joyce Rowan, will be presenting.
