Yesterday marked one year since our community was devastated by a senseless act of hate and violence. Today, and everyday, we stand with our neighbors, friends, and family in the Jewish community and we vow to find ways to be stronger than hate. To love unconditionally. To cherish the differences between us that make this world and this life so beautiful. There was a gathering at the Tree of Life yesterday to create a space for grief, support, and ultimately love to be shared throughout the community. Tree of Life members and family, we will never forget the unjust horror that occurred at this sacred place, and we hope to stand by you and support you on your path to healing. A special thank you to Plaidvocate Enza Potter, who organized an effort to send cards and messages of hope and support to members of the Tree of Life, we hope they helped shine some light on a dark day.
