The primary objective of the fraternity is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting, including:
- Promoting the study and practice of accounting
- Providing opportunities for self-development and association among members and practicing professionals
- Encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility
The Theta Chi Cha
pter sponsors a variety of different activities. The activities are designed to help our members learn about the accounting profession, network with professionals, contribute to the community, and prepare for their careers. Duquesne's Beta Alpha Psi meets every other Tuesday or Wednesday at 4:30pm in Rockwell Hall Lecture Hall 1.
