La Roche University Office of Mission and Ministry The Office of Mission and Ministry seeks to serve students through spiritual experiences and service learning projects that promotes peace and justice.

We seek to build the La Roche Community by daily exploring the college's mission. Each member of the Mission and Ministry team seeks to serve students, staff, and faculty through spiritual programming, service learning projects, and programming that promotes peace and justice in our local and global community. Because La Roche College was founded by the Sisters of Divine Providence, it has its mis

sion solidly linked to theirs as we share the Sisters desire to "co-create a world of compassion, justice and peace." The Office of Mission and Ministry works with the Sisters to further the work of promoting peace and justice through shared programs and projects reflecting our common bond and Catholic heritage. All worship and prayers services, as well as service learning projects and other programs, are open to all students, staff and faculty, as well as members of the local community who wish to participate with us. Truly all are welcome. Come and discover all we have to offer as we further the mission, grow in faith, and become the best for the world!

Thank You to Everyone Who Contributed to This Year's Spring Break Service Trip!

During their time in Florida, La Roche University students worked alongside the National Park System, dedicating their efforts to environmental cleanup and the impacts of extreme weather. They removed over 3000 pounds of garbage from critical sea turtle nesting areas and learned about the ecological effects on the coral reef, the coastline, and the people who live there. Your generosity made this experience possible by covering essential expenses like food, housing, and transportation.

More than just a trip, this was a life-changing journey. Students stepped beyond their comfort zones, took on new challenges, and gained a deeper understanding of teamwork, service, and the world around them—all while embodying the La Roche mission.

This March 8th through the 15th, ten extraordinary students from La Roche University will spend their spring break in service to others.

The group will be traveling to Florida, where they will be volunteering with the National Park System and other organizations focused on cleaning up the environment and helping people affected by extreme weather. Donations will help pay for students' food, housing, transportation, etc.

On this trip, students will explore life experiences different from their own and learn valuable life skills. Through an unforgettable, immersive experience, they will learn more about teamwork, the world around them and about themselves; all while living the La Roche mission statement and working to be the best for the world.
