Duquesne is both a test-optional and test-flexible institution?

That means we accept traditional SAT, ACT and CLT scores as well as any other standardized test like AP, IB and CLEP, if you choose to submit.💡We encourage students apply with test scores if they have them, however they are not required. Apply to DU today!

Kristen is turning her passion for technology into real-world impact through her internship at Central Hudson Gas & Electric.

A Cybersecurity and Computer Science double major with a minor in Communication Studies, Kristen is gaining valuable hands-on experience while building the technical and professional skills that will shape her future career.

"My internship at Central Hudson Gas and Electric has taught me so much more than cybersecurity—it has given me confidence, real-world experience, and the chance to see my ideas make an impact. I am able to gain hands-on experience and am very excited to apply all of the lessons I've learned in both cybersecurity and in life throughout my career!"
