The Pitt Nursing PhD page is sponsored by the Doctoral Student Nursing Organization (DNSO). The DNSO was established in 1989 for the purpose of developing and encouraging a spirit of unity, cooperation, and democratic self-government among doctoral students of the School of Nursing. It coordinates activities, provides a channel of communication and representation between doctoral students

and the faculty of the SON. It also advocates on behalf of the doctoral students to establish funds and programs which will promote the professional development of the doctoral students at the SON.

2012 Kidney Disease Awareness Night - Friday, June 22nd at 7:05 p.m. - Pittsburgh

Free T-Shirt Friday

The National Kidney Foundation will host a special night at PNC Park to raise
awareness of chronic kidney disease which is often caused by high blood pressure
and/or diabetes.
A portion of each ticket sale will benefit the NKF’s special life-saving health
screenings designed to detect kidney disease early.

Outfield Reserve - $20 per ticket ($5 donated to NKF)
Grandstand - $16 per ticket ($3 donated to NKF)

- Groups of 20 or more will be recognized with their group name on the color LED
Board.
