Good news! Carlo Gebler’s new memoir about his mother, No One Tells You: The Last Years of Edna O’Brien will be published this week on September 11 and was featured in Saturday’s Irish Times. In Saturday’s article, The Irish Times said of the book, “It is a sad, beautiful and wise meditation on ageing, grief and death, as well as a portrait of his late mother, one of Ireland’s great writers.”

Great news today, Wag the Dog, an anthology of political poems edited by MFA Alums Deena November Deena November and Nina Padolf Nina Padolf is available for pre-order.

Good news! The fifth installment in the Rose Metal Press’s popular Field Guide series, The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing the Lyric Essay, co-edited by our brilliant MFA mentor Lee Horikoshi Roripaugh and Heidi Czerwiec is now available for pre-order and will be released in October 2026.

The book includes essays from writers who have joined our MFA residencies including Kimiko Hahn, Aimee Nezhukumatatahil, and Brian Turner.
