Need funding to move your Pitt technology closer to commercialization? 🚀

Pitt SPARK provides up to $125,000 for one year to support pre-commercialization activities for Pitt technologies with high commercial potential and compelling proof-of-concept data.

There’s also an important change for Pitt SPARK 2027 applicants: completion of the regional I-Corps program or similar customer discovery or ethnography work within two year will be required to apply.

That’s one of the questions you’ll explore through NSF I-Corps Regional Course, a commercialization training program for Pitt innovators.

Through hands-on customer discovery, I-Corps helps researchers talk to potential customers, uncover unmet needs, and better understand whether their innovation has a path to the real world.
