A major factor associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes is opioid use disorder (OUD).

Medications for the treatment of OUD (MOUD) during pregnancy include buprenorphine (BUP) and methadone, and have been shown to reduce overdose by 57% and preterm deliveries by 25%.

In a new study just published in the Obstetric Anesthesia Digest, researchers, including HPM's Marian Jarlenski, Sabnum Pudasainy, Julie Donohue and Evan Cole, looked at the relationship between buprenorphine dosing and pregnancy outcomes.
