Ratification Vote for Our New Contract

AFSCME Local 3342

USF Workers
will vote on a new contract that offers:

1. Shift differential – 2% for all hours worked between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am – Article 15.5

2. Recall rights of up to 1 year if laid off added to Article 8.5

3. Anti-bullying language added to Article 4.1

4. 2 hours release time per week for the President for direct union representations duties – Article 5.10

5. 1% Bonus

6. 1% General wage increase

Sorry for the delay members. As you know, we had an election for the Union Presidents for USF Local 3342, election last month and it was a tie. This means we have a runoff. We have sent out Election Notice ballots again with instruction for mail voting. If you did not received you ballot due to your last known address, please let us know. Leave a message with your last and first name, current address to 813 992-0830. All ballots must be postmarked no later than October 18th, 2019.

Reminder to USF employees, we are consider essential personnel. This mean everyone reports to work as scheduled, unless the president of the university tells each department supervisor or director to shut down their area/department. Most of us have job duties that require us as a whole to come to work to secure the university and to make sure the remaining students that can not leave are safe and well taken care of.
