UW-Platteville Exponent

UW-Platteville Exponent The oldest continually published student newspaper in the state of Wisconsin. UW-Platteville’s on-campus, student-lead newspaper established in 1889.

Editions are published in paper every Thursday and available on UW-Platteville campus in various locations including Ullsvik Hall, Markee Student Center, Greenwood Avenue Market and residence halls. Stories from each edition are separately published online to Facebook and our website throughout the following week of paper release. At the end of each fall or spring semester, elections occur to sele

ct executive officers for the succeeding semester. These paid positions are held exclusively by UW-Platteville students. The Antagonist is a satirical, joking, and humorous edition of the newspaper established in 1999. The Antagonist is published every semester in the fall and spring around Halloween and April Fool’s Day, respectively. Mailing Address:

"The National Football League draft took place from April 25 to April 27, where recent graduate of UW-Platteville, Justin Blazek, signed a free-agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Blazek marks the fourth UW-Platteville alum that has been selected in the draft, following Robert Bergum (1969), Glen Keppy (1970) and Jim Bunch (1971) according to UW-Platteville Athletics – Football." Read his interview with the Exponent here:
