Hmong Club

Hmong Club Hmong Club is a diverse group of students with a common interest in the Hmong culture at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Hmong Club is a diverse group of students with a common interest in the Hmong culture and by allowing the students to work together in order to provide a safe and legal space in which to test the limits of our knowledge and materials. The organization will broaden the perspective of student involved by increasing their knowledge in the Hmong’s rich culture and history. Students will have the oppor

tunity to conduct research about current Hmong issues and educate the campus community of their discoveries. The Hmong Club will serve as a cultural resource to the campus, community and southwestern Wisconsin. In addition, the group chooses to unite Hmong students on campus, assist students in academics and developing social skills and understanding of one another, while promoting and encouraging a higher scholastic standing and desire for greater knowledge. Lastly, Hmong Club is happy to invite anyone who has interest in the Hmong cultures, leadership skills, or making new friends.

Congratulations to our Spring 2023 graduates!

We are sad and happy that our full executive board of Hmong Club will be graduating. We are excited for their new endeavors in life and wish nothing but the best for these individuals.

Congratulations again to President Jason Thoj, Vice-President Yuepheng Xyooj, Treasurer Blossom Ramos, and Secretary Brandon Thor!

Thank you for everyone who made our event possible, everyone who attended, friends and family, as well as all the performers. Hopefully everyone had a great time seeing some of their favorite Hmong music artists!

We would like to thank HaSEAAC for inviting the Hmong Club of UW-Platteville to their 22nd Annual Taste of Toj Roob event!

The main focus of this event was to discuss about mental health, regarding Hmong-tality family dynamics.

We had a great time, and were grateful to learn more about mental health and the Hmong culture.
