Jewish Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh

Jewish Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh Official page of the Jewish Studies Program at SUNY Plattsburgh

The Jewish Studies Program at SUNY Plattsburgh provides opportunities for students, faculty, and members of the greater Plattsburgh community to immerse themselves in educational activities centered on the history, culture and literature of the Jewish people. The core of the program is the interdisciplinary curriculum of the Jewish Studies minor, which focuses on the social and cultural events and

forces that have shaped Judaism. The program is complemented by a number of activities throughout the academic year that help to foster an understanding and appreciation of the Jewish experience around the globe and across the centuries. The Jewish Studies program is generously supported by gifts to the Plattsburgh College Foundation.
