The Institute for Advanced Manufacturing at Clinton Community College will be hosting a paid pre-apprenticeship program this summer. The New York Power Authority is sponsoring the build your skills program to enhance individuals to learn a trade. Laborers’ Local 1822 and Sheet Metal Workers Local 83 in conjunction with the IAM will begin this class June 29th.

It was great to have Clinton County Legislator Jennifer Facteau-Rabideau at the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing at Clinton Community College for a tour and a conversation about all the exciting programs we are offering. We talked about the needs of the community and workforce training options the IAM is working on. We are looking forward to working with Legislator Facteau-Rabideau in her role as the legislative liaison to CCC.

We are opening up the house! Come one, come all! Play with the virtual welder and get a score on how well you do. You could be a lucky winner. Check out the lathe, the 3D printers, the newest CNC machine. Students can find out about career education that is available at Clinton Community College.
