It's summer, and that means camp season. One of our camp offerings is our Lakeland football camp in July for youth entering grades 4-8. This will be the 20th edition of our fun three-day camp introducing techniques and fundamentals of the sport. More info ⤵️

We have our new women's wrestling coach. Mason Hawkins will take over the program, his first collegiate head coaching position and coming after spending the last three years with the Lakeland men's wrestling program, where he also will continue as an assistant 👍

We are saddened to share that Richard Voss, a 1973 Lakeland graduate and member of the Lakeland Athletics Hall of Fame, died on May 29.

He was a four-year football letterman as a running back and kicker and team captain twice. He was also a four-year baseball letterman as a pitcher and outfielder. He pitched three shutouts in one season and was selected to the all-state team. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990.

More looking back at the recently completed Muskies year, the Lakeland WVB team had another season in the top half of the NACC with a young team led by big-hitting FR Samya Hughes, who along with Faith Baker (also pictured) were two of four to receive all-conference honors:

A very young Lakeland women's volleyball team had another solid year in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in 2025, including earning a home match in the conference tourney for the first time in six years.

More academic awards released this week, a trio from the Lakeland baseball team receive Academic All-District recognition. Congratulations to Bryce Backus, Logan South and Eli Watkins on the recognition of their work on the field and in the classroom

Lakeland University baseball student-athletes Bryce Backus (So.-Kenosha, Wis.), Logan South (So.-Oswego, Ill.) and Eli Watkins (Jr.-Herrin, Ill.) received academic honors when College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) released its NCAA Division III Academic All-District Teams Tuesday.

We're in postseason academic awards mode, that's good, and congratulations to five members of the Lakeland softball team on being named academic all-district team-Callie Linders, Sydney Meyer, Carlie Morrow, McKenzie Staudinger and Natalie Ziebell

Five members of the Lakeland University softball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) NCAA Division III Academic All-District Team when the organization announced its season awards Tuesday.

A review of the 2025 Lakeland men's soccer season, where the Muskies posted their most wins in a season in more than 10 years and received a big season from Jordan Davis-Troller:

The Lakeland men's soccer team made strides in 2025, posting the program's most wins in a season in 12 years behind an all-conference season from captain Jordan Davis-Troller.
