Congratulations to BRADY for being named Employee of the Year for Intramural Sports! We are so proud of Brady for his work as an Intramural Supervisor and for taking on the Intramural Sports Intern Role for the Spring Semester. Brady was an incredible role model on our staff and kept the program running smoothly for our participants while continuing to focus on keeping it fun. Brady acted as a tremendous leader who really stepped up and left a lasting legacy within our program. Many younger officials commended Brady for his hard work, dedication, and willigness to help others. We are so grateful for Brady being willing to step up and take on whatever was needed to have the program continue to be successful. We are so proud to add Brady’s name to a long list of amazing student employees and so grateful for all of his hard work this year. Congratulations, Brady!

We have some awards that we would like to announce and we are thrilled to start with a brand new award that has been a long time coming, our Sport Club Student Leader of the Year and our first winner is CAM from ! Cam has been instrumental in the success of the Golf Club as one of the most consistent and high performing clubs. He is detail orientated, focused, reliable and always looking for new ways to get the club to reach a high level. He played a key role in the success of this year’s Nick Harrington Memorial Golf Tournament and helped us reach our highest year of participation yet. We look forward to having him back for another year! Thank you, Cam, for your hard work and dedication! Congratulations!

We miss having students on campus but we have a few more shoutouts for our Graduates! Today our shoutout goes to JOE!! One of our 4 years seniors who was with us from day one, Joe jumped in quickly after seeing an old friend involved in the program. He was always kind and reliable and often worked the courtroom shifts to keep people safe and comfortable in the courtroom space. A strong official, Joe did well with many of the sports and helped keep things calm and running smoothly all semester. The leadership and ability to step up played a key role in a great semester! Thanks, Joe! 💚💚

What a great day yesterday celebrating all the graduates! We are lucky to have a few more amazing grads to shout-out and today we start with LOYAL!! Loyal has been one of our most reliable refs and is great at taking charge and control of the games. His conflict resolution skills have been vital to the success of our program and he is well respected by our participants. He has especially shined running basketball, one of our most challenging sports where he is one of the best basketball officials we have ever had. Loyal is strong on the court but also just a great all around guy as well and always the type of guy who was in the conversation of Employee of the Month and he was one of our best overall officials all year long. In a crazy semester, we are so grateful for employees like Loyal for holding everything down. Congratulations, Loyal! Thank you for all of your contributions to Intramurals! 💚💚

We kick off Graduation Day with a shoutout to one of the most impactful people in our program’s history, ROBBY!! Robby started with us four years ago and while he may have started slow at PSU, he became an instant star in Campus Rec, truly finding his sense of belonging. He proved to be one of the hardest working and most reliable staff members and brought an awesome energy to match. He had a lot of great ideas and a ton of fitness knowledge and it was clear he was a future leader on our team. He was promoted to the intern position and brought a fresh perspective and hard working demeanor. As a student-athlete with he pushed himself to be the best version of himself and prove he could accomplish anything he wanted. This year he has found his way with being a leader in equipment maintenance and support and has inspired younger staff to be creative and put their talents to their best use. He was always willing to take feedback and grow in the role and made some incredible contributions to the Power Lifting Competition as the connection point from the original creators - some of his good friends - and this years group and beyond, which speaks to the “ripple” within Campus Recreation. His passion for Campus Recreation is special and helped our program to a better place over these four years! Thank you, Robby! Congratulations! 💚💚

Another Senior Shoutouts has been one of our best Officials for the last few years. Congratulations, SPENCER! Spence has been such a reliable and hard working official over the years and always gets the tough assignments and takes control over the games. He is knowledgeable about the rules and helps guide other new officials. He has been hard working and really stepped up this semester with more of a student led program. The true heart and soul of the Intramural Program, our officials have really made the program a success and Spence is one of the biggest reasons why! Congratulations, Spence! 💚💚

Our next Senior Shoutout comes at a very appropriate time since her very popular Core Classes were Fridays around lunch, congratulations MENNAH!! Mennah was an incredible addition to our Group Ex Schedule with her popular Core Classes which was amazing for people of all fitness levels. She has always been kind and welcoming and really added to our offerings. Her energy was awesome and so encouraging to get new people in the class and had so much a great vibe in the health and fitness world. Mennah was one of our most loyal gym goers and did so much to share her love of health and fitness for others and make their experience at PSU better! Thanks, Mennah!! Congratulations! 💚💚
