October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Purple is the color of awareness—a reminder of the lives affected by domestic violence and of our shared responsibility to stand against it.

Yesterday, our College came together on every campus for a moment of silence in solidarity and remembrance of one of our own, Christina Sammartino Jackson, whose life was tragically taken as a result of domestic violence.

This month, we wear purple. We remember. We stand together.

Chris was our colleague, our friend, and part of our College family. Her loss will remain with us forever.

We are so excited to celebrate 10 years in The Last Frontier! 🥳

ISU is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the University of Alaska Anchorage to provide pharmacy education in Alaska.

As the only pharmacy school in Alaska, this program has allowed students to not only attend in their home state but also to stay, making long-term differences in Alaskan communities.
