We hope this site will help you reconnect and stay connected with your alma mater. The ISU Alumni Association exists to provide a lifelong two-way connection between alumni and their university. It acts as the guardian of tradition, keeps members informed about their alma mater and their fellow alumni, provides opportunities for alumni to get together in social and educational settings, and promotes the needs of the university and its students. Every current and former ISU student who has accumulated at least 24 credits has FREE membership in the Alumni Association. Founded in 1906, the Alumni Association is governed by a board of directors that meets three times a year. Day-to-day operations are handled by a full-time staff of five at the Office of Alumni Relations located in the H.F.

Chelsea Wilkerson graduated from Idaho State University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She earned her degree while working full time and raising her two children, demonstrating her dedication, perseverance, and strong work ethic.

In 2024, Chelsea joined Idaho State University as an Administrative Assistant in the Biological Sciences Department. In early 2026, she learned that her position would be eliminated due to state budget cuts. Determined to continue her career at ISU, she diligently pursued opportunities across campus. Her persistence paid off, and in June 2026, she graciously accepted a position in the Admissions Office, where she now serves as a Technical Records Specialist.

Chelsea values the time she spent as an ISU student and looks back fondly on her academic experience. She is grateful for the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills she gained through her education to her career at Idaho State University and is proud to continue serving the university community.

From Pocatello to higher education leadership, Dr. Henry T. Evans has dedicated his career to expanding opportunity and supporting student success. 🧡🐯

A 1989 Idaho State University graduate, Dr. Evans earned his doctorate at ISU in 2011 and spent more than 30 years connected to the university—as a researcher, educator, administrator, and advocate.

His work at ISU included supporting first-generation and low-income students through TRIO, advancing equity and inclusion, and teaching courses in Political Science and Sociology.

Today, Dr. Evans serves as Associate Dean for Outreach, Access, and Strategic Initiatives at Washington State University, where he leads efforts to expand educational access and build pathways to higher education.

A lifelong Bengal whose work continues to create opportunities for others. 🐯

“You can’t make money playing video games.”

That’s what Tim May remembers his parents telling him growing up.

Today, Tim, President of Direct Communications, is helping create opportunities for a new generation of students through Idaho State University’s new Direct Communications Esports Arena.

The $520,000 gift from Direct Communications helped make this state-of-the-art space possible — giving Bengal esports student-athletes a place to compete at the highest level and creating a space for students, high school teams and collegiate teams to gather, compete and build community.

And at the arena’s unveiling, Tim brought his own kids to experience it.

As esports continues to grow, so do the career opportunities surrounding it, from software engineering and broadcasting to aviation, military careers and more.

Here’s to the students building what comes next — and the generations cheering them on. 🐯🎮

Thank you, Direct Communications, for helping make those opportunities possible.

For nearly six decades, Brent Lowman has used art, education, and creativity to build community and inspire generations of students. 🧡🎨

A 1968 Idaho State University graduate, Lowman dedicated 34 years to teaching art in Pocatello, sharing his passion for drawing, painting, and pottery with students while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and confidence.

Beyond the classroom, he has exhibited his work throughout Idaho and the Intermountain West and remains active in the Pocatello arts community.

His greatest legacy, however, may be the countless former students who still share memories of his classroom and the lessons that went far beyond art.

A lifelong artist, educator, and mentor whose creativity continues to inspire. 🐯
