With profound sadness, we share the passing of our Past Master, Bertram Lloyd Edmonston, III, of Fervency Lodge No. 200 AF&AM. Bert, who left us on October 5, 2025, was a pillar of our Masonic community, serving as Past Master of Lynch, Fervency, and Smithsburg Lodges, and as a Grand Inspector for the Grand Lodge of Maryland.
May the Great Architect welcome Brother Bert to the Celestial Lodge above.

Today brethren of Fervency Lodge #200 in Point of Rocks, MD gathered to install our officers for 2025.

While some were unable to attend, their presence was felt in spirit.

As we welcome the new year, let’s reflect on the words of Brother Benjamin Franklin: “Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.” 

May 2025 be a year of growth, harmony, and self-improvement for all.
