The Pomona Valley Alumnae Chapter was chartered January 21, 1979 and proudly serves the Pomona Valley and Inland Empire in Southern California.

The Pomona Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc serves the Inland Empire as agents of change; executing innovative programs, activities and events that leverage technology and align with our sorority’s National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.

Repost: Today we honor the legacy of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas who were finally informed of their freedom, some two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. It was those people, and the generations of Texans who came after them, who made the bold declaration to celebrate this day, marking a reality we know far too well in this country: freedom may be delayed, but it will never be denied.

Though our fight for freedom sadly continues, today we pause to celebrate and embrace the joy of our ancestors who believed in the possibilities of a more promising tomorrow. And in that joy, we remain anchored, steadfast in our pursuit of true freedom and justice for all.

Join us as PVAC competes in the AV Tops Nexus Step Show Competition, the first D9 Step Show Competition ever held in the Antelope Valley. This historic event celebrates the power, legacy, and excellence of Black Greek Letter Organizations during a milestone year recognizing 100 years of celebrating Black History in America.

The Pomona Valley Alumnae Chapter invites you to our Annual May Day in the Park community event! Mark your calendars for May 2nd and get ready for a day of fun, fellowship, and giving back.
