The Department of Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Architecture, appointment effective Fall 2024. We have a strong commitment to inclusive excellence and to educational experiences that leverage the diverse perspectives and experiences needed to succeed and thrive in a diverse society.

The new faculty member will teach architecture core studios (1st, 2nd or 3rd year), upper level elective design studios, technical lecture courses, and elective seminars within the B. Arch and M. Arch programs, engage in service by contributing to the operations of the department, college, and university, and participate in creative/scholarly activities that contribute to their teaching. We welcome candidates who bring one or more of the following expertise: Integration of Technology in Design & Construction, Structural Design, Sustainable & Preservation Practices, Material Research, and Current Trends in Architectural Design Thinking and Research.

Consideration of completed applications will begin on November 6, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled.
