The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a professional organization for chemical engineers. As of 2010, AIChE had over 40,000 members, including members from over 90 countries worldwide. Our organization's mission is to provide networking opportunities in academia and industry to Cal Poly Pomona students in chemical engineering. AIChE: Cal Poly Pomona provides academic workshops an
d presentations from well-qualified guest speakers from industry to help students with networking, seeking internship opportunities, and gaining more information on the chemical engineering as a professional career. In addition, AIChE: Cal Poly Pomona provides academic help to our members with the chemical engineering curriculum as well as organizing fun, social events to meet fellow chemical engineering students on campus. General Membership for 2014-2015 is $20 and comes with an AICHE-CPP T-shirt.
