After a life-changing health scare in her 40s, Theresa Campbell made the bold decision to leave her career behind and pursue nursing — all while raising a family and balancing life at home. What followed was a remarkable journey from pediatric critical care nurse to nurse educator, mentor, and lifelong learner.
Today, Theresa is a Galen MSN graduate, current DNP student, and faculty member at Galen’s Savannah campus, where she’s helping shape the next generation of nurses through the same compassion and inclusivity that guided her own career.
From caring for critically ill children in the PICU to now teaching future nurses the importance of compassionate care, Theresa’s story is a powerful reminder that purpose can find you at any stage of life. ✨
