Throughout Hampton University’s rich history, our iconic logo has evolved with the times:
• 1875: The Board of Trustees approved the first official seal.
• 1930: The seal was updated when Hampton became Hampton Institute.
• 1984: We became Hampton University, and our logo changed once again.
Fast forward to today, and most of the merchandise reflects our new branding. But what about the original logo? It’s disappeared from shelves — until now.
Introducing Original Graduate, a brand inspired by the timeless, vintage Hampton style. We’ve created something we wanted but couldn’t find: HU gear featuring the original throwback logo. It’s Economics 101 — if you can’t find it, create it.
