Spring 2015 Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band Audition excerpts recorded by Mr. Fairfield. I recorded these in my office just like an actual audition situation with some commentary to help your preparation for the upcoming auditions on Monday.

Welcome back for the Spring 2015 semester! Audition music can be found in the lobby of the music building and comes from Malcolm Arnold's English Dances (set 2). Auditions will occur next Monday (1/26/15).

On the second printed excerpt, the key signature is cut off from the first line and should read as the following three lines do - with two sharps, putting us in our D Major. This makes the first printed note F #, NOT F natural. Please do not come into the audition and play the wrong notes!
