The Golden Student Success Center will be closed in celebration of Juneteenth on Friday, June 19th, 2026. Normal summer hours will resume on Monday, June 22nd, 2026 at 8:00am.

Yesterday’s Roosevelt Refreshers program featured Oscar Robinson sharing the history of the Buffalo Soldiers at Enchantment Vineyards. From the origins of the name “Buffalo Soldiers” to the story behind Buffalo Soldier Hill, attendees explored an important piece of local and national history including the years of advocacy that helped rename the landmark.



The next Roosevelt Refresher on this same topic will be held at the Portales Public Library on June 18th at 5:30pm. DM for more details!

Special Collections is closing an hour early this Thursday and Friday (June 4-5) at 4 p.m. to prepare for our upcoming movie showing and discussion. We hope to see you this Friday at 5 p.m. to see Impostor (2001), adapted from the short story of the same name by Philip K. Dick. Stop by the Golden Student Success Center on the ENMU campus and check out our Juneteenth display! This display has a curated selection of books and even recipes. Also a reminder that our building is open to the public and any New Mexico Resident age 16 or older can obtain a free library card to check out materials. We are open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
