Heads Up! 🔔

The Reuse Room will be temporarily closed on 11/3 and 11/4.

We will be announcing our new and extended hours later this week that will start on 11/10 for everyone to get the most out of reusing on campus!

♻️ If you have donations that cannot wait until 11/10, or are in urgent need of materials- we encourage you to reach out to the follow organizations:

🌳 Our Office will be tabling at Portland State’s Party in the Park this Wednesday from 11 - 2 pm! Get to know more about sustainability at PSU and the Reuse Program!

🧤Are you a resident at Portland State? Join us on October 23rd for a festive fall night as we host our first Clothing Swap and Drive Pop Up alongside University Housing! More details are on the way!

🍃 Our Fall Term is right around the corner- and so is the season for Reusing on campus!

⏰ The Reuse Room will be open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1 until 4:30 PM- with more open hours to come as we continue in the Term!

The Reuse Room is ‘s hub for free school supplies, kitchen gear, books, CDs, and more!

Everything within our Reuse Room is free because of generous donations- from an unused notebook to microwaves- every PSU community member plays an important role in keeping our campus circular!

♻️ With the Fall term quickly approaching, we’ve decided to upkeep our Summer Hours into September and are happy to announce that the Reuse Room will be open

☀️ Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12 PM to 3:30 PM ☀️

September is the perfect time to start gathering any items that could be reused or repurposed by your peers and community members! Donations are accepted during Open Hours!

🍁 Fall Term hours will be announced in late September! Along with some exciting news and updates about our Reuse Program 🍁

< We will be back on September 10th and continue our summer hours 12-3:30 PM on each Tuesday and Wednesday.

‼️ We request that absolutely NO donations are made during this period as there will be no staff to collect/accept your donations and they will become waste ‼️

A sustainable summer has finally arrived and we’re excited to announce that the Reuse Room will be open too! 🌤️

📍 Cramer Hall (first floor) room #180

Beginning in July- the room can be accessed 12-3:30 pm every Wednesday!

Then in August we’ll be open 12-3:30 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

♻️ We will be accepting donations during our open hours and a fully stocked Reuse Room where students and staff can find
• Office Supplies
• School Supplies
• Home Goods
• CDs, DVDs, & Books
• Games
• Kitchenware- even small appliances
• Water Bottles
• Toys & Accessories
• Any other exciting donations that we get!

Happy Graduation to our PSU community! 🎓The Planning & Sustainability Office was thrilled to execute our annual Gown Reuse Program and hopes to continue helping students next year. If you borrowed a gown or would like to donate yours, please look for collection bins in front of Millar Library after graduation ceremonies, June 13th-15th. If you would like to return/donate your gown at a later date, you can find a collection bin at the University Market #105 in the Smith Memorial Student Union throughout the summer. Additionally, students can mail gowns to the Richard and Maureen Neuberger Center, P.O. Box 751, but shipping costs will not be reimbursed. Thank you to those who participated in our program, we hope you have a great summer!☀️

🥫We will be partnering with to collect unopened, non perishable food donations at this event! ✅Bring canned goods, pastas, and rice. 🚫 Do not bring anything refrigerated or frozen.
