Ladies! As we discussed at our mixer, the potential directors for the VRC are holding open Q&A sessions with the veteran community on campus. Your input and inquiries are really important, and we want women veterans to have as much impact and voice as everyone, since our issues are sometimes unique from those of our brothers, both in service and afterwards.

There are three remaining Q&A sessions at the following dates and times. If you can make it, by all means do! These meetings are being held in the VRC, SMSU #401.

Thursday, June 2nd -- 10:15am-11:15am
Monday, June 6th -- 10:00am-11:00am
Tuesday, June 7th -- 10:00am-11:00am

Have you seen these fliers around campus? Need $10 for your favorite food cart?

Earn $10 for completing a 30 minute survey about your experiences on and off campus at Portland State University.

The purpose of this study is to get a real understanding of how veterans at Portland State University transition to life as a university student. Veterans who are also current students at Portland State are eligible to participate in this study.

It will take about 30 minutes to complete, and asks questions about your current mood, who you tend to talk to when you want to talk about something, and general information about your status as a student as well as how long and where you served during your time in the military.

You can refuse to answer any of the questions at any time and skip any questions that you do not want to answer.

Once finished, you'll be given information on how to get your $10 for participating in this study.

If you'd like to participate, please click the following link: https://portlandstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6yPsSC4MkjqEtVP

Feel free to contact Dr. Erin Spottswood at [email protected] or 503-725-5810.
