All are invited to attend the 2021 ECE Capstone Presentations!

Due to COVID, this is the second year that capstone will be an online event rather than our usual in-person poster competition. Instead of posters, each team will do a brief 10 minute presentation of their project followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. There will be 5 minutes between each presentation for students to "set up" and for judges to complete their notes, etc.

Due to the number of teams, presentations will take place over two days. As in past years, the event is open to the public. Faculty, past and present capstone sponsors, lower-division undergraduates, and high school STEM students are particularly encouraged to attend.

The schedule and Zoom links are as follows (please note there is a different link for each date):

Thursday, June 3, 2021, 8:20-11:55 PST (Zoom link: https://pdx.zoom.us/j/81979882960)

Friday, June 4, 2021, 13:00-16:30 PST (Zoom link: https://pdx.zoom.us/j/82468121496)

We are once again offering a scholarship for incoming female freshman students. ECE alum Lauren Krueger helped us to secure some of the funding for this scholarship and you can find out more about what she has done to help increase diversity in STEM here: bit.ly/2SHtxUj. The deadline for the scholarship is May 16th and if you are an incoming freshman and missed the email please contact us.

Lauren Krueger faced the challenges and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Now, she's helping other under underrepresented people in STEM.
