In partnership with VA Maine, our next Veterans and Community Connection Expo will be held on Saturday, June 6 at the Boothbay Railway Village (586 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Join us for a day filled with valuable resources for veterans, service members, their families, and survivors from Federal, State, and local organizations.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with mental health services, engage with representatives who can assist in building important community ties, and learn about safe-storage options aimed at preventing veteran su***de.

Enjoy music, food, giveaways, and other fun activities for the whole family!

Have you applied yet? -- Applications are now available for both the Disabled Veterans’ Controlled Moose Hunt and the Donated Moose Permit Lottery for disabled veterans.

Eligible veterans can choose to apply for the controlled moose hunt, donated moose permit, or both opportunities.

This program is exclusively available to veterans with a VA disability rating of 50% or higher who have completed hunter safety training or hold a valid Maine hunting license.

Free Hunting & Fishing Licenses for Eligible Veterans!

Maine veterans with a 50% or greater service-connected disability rating may qualify for a complimentary lifetime hunting, fishing, and trapping license.

This special benefit includes permits for archery, muzzleloader, migratory bird, pheasant, turkey, bear, coyote night hunt, and more.

This license is available to eligible veterans who are residents of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Texas, and other states with reciprocal agreements. It remains valid for life as long as residency requirements are met.
