May is National Lyme Disease Prevention Month — a reminder to stay tick aware and protect yourself and your family from tick-borne diseases.

Cornell Integrated Pest Management reminds you to:
✔️ Perform daily tick checks
✔️ Learn to recognize tick species
✔️ Remove ticks promptly and properly
✔️ Dress for ticks - tuck pants into socks and wear permethrin treated clothing

Ticks can hide in hard-to-see places like behind ears, under arms, behind knees and along the hairline — so don’t skip your daily check.

We had a great kick-off to this year's coffee pot season at CLEREL this past Wednesday with our Sprayer Calibration Meeting!

This meeting included workshops designed to be taught by Extension staff who are seeking hands-on pesticide safety programs with growers in other regions. Those in attendance evaluated four workshops, tested each setup, and provided valuable feedback. We truly appreciate their participation and input, as it will help us develop programming that benefits our Extension peers and their grower clients. A special shoutout goes to for sponsoring coffee and donuts for everyone this week! ☕ 🍩

We look forward to seeing more of you over the next 12 weeks! For our coffee pot meeting schedule, please visit lergp.com 🍇
