For 2024-25, NIC Workforce Training had:
Electrical Apprentices - 464 completed - 93%
HVAC Apprentices - 113 completed - 87.5%
Plumbing Apprentices - 214 completed - 90%

Teach Mental Health. Inspire Future Caregivers.

NIC Workforce Training Center is seeking a part-time instructor to teach its online Mental Health Technician Certification course.

This is an opportunity for a mental health professional to share real-world experience, introduce students to a meaningful career field, and help prepare future Mental Health Technicians to recognize mental health conditions and understand approaches to care.

The course is already developed and offered in two online formats: five weeks or nine weeks. Both cover the same material at different paces.

A mental health background is required; LCPC or LPC preferred.
