Dr. Greg Gardner leads an initiative to establish a Dual Degree Program with Kyiv National Economic University.
“It was clear to me that if these people will continue to teach classes and operate their university while being fired at, we sure ought to step up and bring this project to completion and bring them whatever opportunities we could,” Dr. Gardner said.

The State University of New York at Potsdam and the Kyiv National Economic University have signed an agreement to offer a new dual degree program, opening up future opportunities for Ukrainian undergraduates and solidifying a partnership between the two institutions.

Dr. Seon Levius, an assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration, was recently featured in Kaieteur News, the largest newspaper in Guyana, the country where he was born and raised. Read more: https://bit.ly/3oncB1G

Levius has had an impressive career. Starting as an officer cadet in the Guyana Defence Force, he transitioned to the world of business where he worked for Caribbean intergovernmental and multilateral agencies based in Barbados. He went on to get his Doctor of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Information Systems Management, before joining SUNY Potsdam's faculty in 2017!

SUNY Potsdam Ed Techs care. Yes, they have sound teaching fundamentals; yes they have learned to be tenacious problem solvers; and yes, they know their way around technology. But what is more important is what drives all of this: a deep caring for students. When you care creativity flows easily, and you are not afraid to take chances. Ed Techs are at the juicy core of learning environments, where they turn the simple into the special. SUNY Potsdam’s Ed Tech program is one of the oldest in the country, starting in the 1970s shortly after Ed Tech entered onto the scene in higher education. Our program has deep roots, and now that we are fully online, we are confident that we can spread this message of caring to like-minded people from around the world. The best is yet to come.
