Last week at the SANS DASL Expo UMES MANRRS took home second place among the orgs. We are so grateful for the successful year we’ve had. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. Shoutout to all the other tables and everyone involved for putting on and participating in this amazing fair once again!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Barb Glenn for visiting us on campus and speaking at Mind Your MANRRS. Along side our Mr. and Miss MANRRS she spoke to and educated our chapter on her background, professional careers in Ag, policy, how to conduct yourself in the workplace, interview styles and more. Thank you Dr. Glenn!

This past weekend, April 9th-12th 2026, the UMES MANRRS Chapter traveled to Dallas, Texas for National MANRRS40 annual training conference and career expo.

We had nothing short of an amazing experience. Throughout the days we got to listen to speakers of all backgrounds, participated in engaging workshops, had endless networking opportunities, and were presented with an amazing career fair consisting of top of the line companies, producers, internships, and graduate study programs. We also explored research, there was a college fair, competitions, and so much more. Each day we learned new things, we definitely left with more knowledge than we came with.

MANRRS40 was such an enriching experience for our professional and career development, it’s so incredible having to MANNRS community come together spreading all the love and fun. We are so thankful for this successful experience, we cannot wait until next time. Thank you! 🖤💛

MANRRS WEEK RECAP ⭐️🖤

The UMES MANRRS Chapter and community had a successful MANRRS Week 2026! During February 16th-20th, we were involved on campus all five days of the week showcasing our love and commitment to MANRRS. Each day of the week we did the calendar days from nationals and additionally had activities of our own to show our gratitude. We also had story takeovers on our page from e-board members Dreyden, Kenya, Mercedes, Sarah, and Kaila, showing a day in the life of undergraduate agriculture majors. Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and supported us. A special thank you to for leading the way and featuring us!

MANRRS WEEK RECAP ⭐️🖤
