Holiday Powerlifting Competition, held Saturday December 6, 2025 at the Umes health and wellness center was a true success. Over 38 lifters from UMES Powerlifting Club and students participated in this wonderful event. Several powerlifting records were shattered. I would like to express my appreciation for each lifter, their families for using language that celebrates strength, unity and strength. A special shout out to our student helpers, spotters and loaders for ensuring safety and smooth platform transition. Our students are truly legendary!
