The brothers of Delta Omicron Lambda Chapter were proud to spend time with students at Pocomoke Middle School through our mentorship program. Investing in our youth through guidance, encouragement, and meaningful conversations helps build confidence and prepares them for future success. We are committed to making a positive impact, one student at a time.

Today, brothers of Delta Omicron Lambda proudly volunteered at Eagleman, supporting athletes and race organizers throughout the event. Brothers assisted by handing out water and hydration supplements to participants while also helping keep the course clean through cleanup efforts. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and contribute to the success of this outstanding event.

North Caroline High School in Denton, MD provided an opportunity to advocate and support community needs while collaborating with other members of the Divine 9. The Comm”UNITY” Event at North Caroline High School allowed the Delta Omicron Lambda Chapter to highlight Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated’s Four National Programs. Brother Kirk Howie and Brother Todd Nock were on hand to promote scholarship, voter education, and youth development.
The event was an enjoyable opportunity for fostering connections with students and the community. Special thanks to all the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Kappa Theta Omega Chapter, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, Mu Omicron Sigma Chapter who helped make this event a success through their collaborative efforts.

DOL Brothers Sean Meredith, Rodney Izzard, Derrick Briddell, Ryan Forbes, Jamaal Dennis, and Kirk Howie stood at a pivotal moment in our history and society at this impactful Eastern Regional Conference. Highlighted also by the panel appearance of Maryland Governor Bro. Wes Moore. Key 203 strongly represented the Eastern shore and Bro. Meredith was highlighted in the inaugural class of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated 40 over 40!

Brothers of Delta Omicron Lambda joined the MAAC for our 22nd Annual Alpha Night in Annapolis Reception, held at the Governor Calvert Inn, located within the Historic Inns of Annapolis. This annual gathering provides an important opportunity for fellowship and engagement as we meet with and speak directly to our elected officials on issues impacting our communities and the Commonwealth.

Brother Schyler Sample and Brothers from the University of Maryland College Park () visited Alice West Fleet Elementary School to participate in their Black History Month pep rally. Brothers spoke with students about the impact of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and answered questions students had regarding college life, sharing their own personal college experiences as well. It was a very rewarding experience engaging with tomorrow’s future leaders while also celebrating Black History! 🤙🏾

North Caroline High School in Denton, MD was filled with energy and potential on February 26, 2026, as students from across Caroline County gathered for the NCHS Senior Information & Scholarship Fair to explore scholarship opportunities and critical graduation readiness resources.

The Delta Omicron Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated proudly participated to share information about the Charles J. Laws Scholarship — a $500 award supporting students who excel in academics and service.

Rooted in 119 years of “Manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind,” we remain committed to empowering Eastern Shore students, bridging the gap between aspirations and achievement, and building a brighter future for generations to come.
